Last night I was trying to upgrade my Blackberry Curve (8320) firmware. I downloaded a firmware from the internet and upgraded the blackberry to OS 4.5.0.124.
The firmware is much better than the older firmware (T-Mobile) 4.5.0.82. Faster, and more free memory. However, the newer firmware didn't have arabic fonts. I kept on searching the internet on how to add arabic fonts to the blackberry, until I found a way.
I installed the older firmware arabic fonts to the newer one. It worked perfectly!! How to:
1. First download JL_Cmder 2. Use the javaloader.exe to load the arabic fonts to the blackberry.
javaloader -u load net_rim_font_semitic.cod
the file net_rim_font_semitic.cod is from my older firmware. 3. The blackberry will reboot! Now you have arabic in your blackberry.
